39th in the 2010 Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies!

I'm pleased to report that the awards and recognition have continued. We've just been placed 39th in the 2010 Sunday Times 100 Best Small companies!!

You all know the Sunday Times, however you might not know the Best Companies organisation, the people behind these top 100 lists and their own star accreditations in recognition of the very best places to work. 

To quote:

It's about excelling in every area throughout the workplace and an organisation's commitment to its most important assets - its workforce. Focusing on employees brings real benefits such as, improved workplace engagement, better staff retention, reduced recruitment costs and greater financial performance.

Ranked number 23 in the world!

We have succeeded in making it into the 2010 MSP Mentor top 100 list, which highlights IT service providers that are excelling in the realm of managed services.

The Background

Where did we come?

Not only have we made it into the list this year, but we've come in at number 23! It's a fantastic result and great recognition of the progress we're making.

Finalists in the BCS & Computing 2009 UK IT Industry Awards

I’m pleased to announce that IT Lab has been selected as a finalist in two categories of the British Computer Society & Computing 2009 UK IT Industry Awards.

The Categories are the Best SME IT Strategy of the Year award, and the Promoting IT Professionalism award.

As finalists we must now attend a judging day and make presentations to the final judging panel to try and secure a win in each category!

We’ll certainly do our best in the presentations and hope to win, however just being selected as a finalist out of the huge number of companies that enter is quite a feat in itself!

The winners and medallists will be announced at the black-tie gala awards dinner on the 12th of November so fingers crossed!
