Audits of any kind are usually time-consuming. But Jardine Lloyd Thompson Corporate Risks Ltd, an insurance broker and risk manager, can deliver an audit report minutes after the audit has taken place thanks to some nifty business software designed by IT Lab.

Royal Air Force Bases

To improve communications and data management at RAF Lakenheath, the largest US Air Force base in the UK, IT Lab developed a centrally-managed database to replace a host of disparate, independent systems that had been developed at the base over time.

Problems of data inconsistency and duplication were eliminated, as every department now works with the same information simultaneously. We also provided the ability for the base to perform automatic data backups, with tools for the restoration of data.

The new database system helped RAF Lakenheath pass a US Air Force audit measuring the quality of information, communication and security, and led to a similar project at RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk.
